Friday
The day was all about arriving, settling in, and getting to know our roommates. The wind and rain followed us to camp, so warm showers and beanies became instant favourites. By evening, we were tucked up enjoying the new Lilo & Stitch movie, snacks in hand, ready for the adventures ahead.

Saturday
The day was, in every way, “Wet and Wonderful.” We kicked off the day outside, determined to perfect our archery skills despite the drizzle. Back indoors, we tested our wits and speed in the “Minute to Winit” game show, sent heartfelt letters to our PenPals in Down Syndrome South Australia, and filled the air with laughter and music during Bec’s sing-along session. As night fell, the campers transformed into true Winter Wonder Glammers, hitting the disco dancefloor with sparkle, glitter, and pizzazz, proving that nothing warms a winter night like music, friends, and a little sparkle.

Sunday
The day was a celebration of ourselves and our time together. We reflected on the weekend by writing in our gratitude journals, unleashed our creativity in a lively drama play, and enjoyed a peaceful Sunday Coffee Club session. The highlight of the day was the Winter Wonders Camp Graduation, where we celebrated the unique achievements of each camper. With smiles, hugs, and promises to reunite, we said our goodbyes – until the next camp!

From rain boots to glitter shoes, archery arrows to dancefloor moves, this Winter Wonders Camp was a joyful reminder that the weather might set the scene, but the people make the magic. Bring on Summer Camp! 🌺☀️🍉
