Rabbitohs Welcome Down Syndrome NSW for Exclusive Captains Run

This morning, the South Sydney Rabbitohs opened their doors to Down Syndrome NSW members for an exclusive behind-the-scenes Captains Run at the Usana High Performance Centre in Maroubra.

Attendees had the unique opportunity to watch the Rabbitohs in action during their final training session before game day. The team sported their Down Syndrome NSW Lots of Socks demonstrating their commitment to inclusion and community engagement. 

Following the high-energy training session, members of Down Syndrome NSW were invited to a special photo opportunity with the players, capturing memorable moments with their sporting heroes. The event allowed Down Syndrome NSW members to cheer on the team and enjoyed a morning of fun, inspiration, and connection. 

Christine Turner from Down Syndrome NSW highlighted the impact of the event on members. “These opportunities mean so much to our community. Being included in events like this not only brings joy but also fosters a strong sense of belonging. We are grateful to the Rabbitohs for their ongoing support and commitment to inclusion.”
