Down Syndrome NSW has a long association with the Parramatta area – the first public meeting to set up the Association was held in Parramatta and our office has been in and around the area for the last 35 years.

So we are delighted that the Lady Mayoress, Kirsty Lloyd, has chosen Down Syndrome NSW as one of her nominated charities for the year with a private screening of Disney’s new live action ‘Cinderella’ on Tuesday 21 April.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards our work supporting people with Down syndrome and their families.

  • Scrapheap Adventure Ride 2015

The Scrapheap Adventure Ride is back, bigger and better than ever, as it prepares to set out on its sixth great journey through the Aussie outback.

The destination for 2015 is Urana in southern New South Wales, located about 100km south-west of Wagga Wagga, where riders and non-riders meet and camp on the weekend of 25-27 September.

There will be plenty of fun and entertainment over the weekend, including live music, a celebratory dinner, activities for the kids and, as always, plenty of classic yarns from the ride! Catering packages for the dinner will be detailed shortly.
